Police detain Indian national with yaba tablets

Police have arrested an Indian citizen with 182 yaba tablets in his possession in Netrokona.

Acting on a tip-off in the northern district Lithon Marak, 33, was arrested on Monday, said Police Sub-Inspector Marufuzzaman.

“A total of 182 yaba tablets were found on him.”

Marak, a resident of India’s Meghalaya, frequently sneaked into Bangladesh to sell the contraband.

The man will be taken to court on Tuesday, bdnews24 said quoting SI Marufuzzaman .
