PMO, ministries reopen partially today

The government has decided to reopen the activities of some ministries and Prime Minister's Office (PMO) from today (Sunday) considering the country's interests during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The ministry of public administration in a circular issued on Saturday said the ministries would work in coordination with each other on a limited scale until May 5, the last date of extended government holiday, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The ministries that will run on a limited scale are: PMO, cabinet division, public administration, commerce, food, shipping, social welfare, agriculture, fisheries and livestock, disaster management and relief, health and family welfare, women and children affairs, information, industries, home affairs and LGRD and Co-operatives.
