Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reached London on her way back to Dhaka after wrapping up her weeklong visit to the United States to attend the 73rd UN General Assembly session.
A British Airways flight, carrying the Prime Minister, landed at Heathrow International Airport at 7:15am on Sunday (local time).
Bangladesh High Commissioner to the UK Nazmul Qaunine received the Prime Minister at the airport.
After several hours of stopover in London, Sheikh Hasina will leave the UK capital for home by a VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines at 06:20pm (local time) today.
The flight is expected to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 09:25am on Monday.
