Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of New York City Awami League President and valiant freedom fighter Nur Nabi.
In a condolence message on Friday the prime minister recalled the role of Nur Nabi in various democratic movements.
The Prime Minister prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
Nur Nabi died on Friday morning at a private hospital in Dhaka.
