Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina leaves Dhaka on Saturday for New York to attend the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The prime minister will leave Dhaka for Abu Dhabi by a Bangladesh Biman flight at 2pm. On Sunday morning, she will leave Abu Dhabi for New York by an Etihad flight, according to the Prime Minister's Office.
Bangladesh Ambassador to USA M Ziauddin and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to UN Masud Bin Momen will receive the prime minister on her arrival in New York on Sunday afternoon.
During her visit, the prime minister will stay in Hotel Grand Hyatt in New York.
Sheikh Hasina will address the UNGA in the afternoon on September 21 and have a bilateral meeting with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on the same day.
