Wrapping up her three-day official visit to Cambodia, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh for home on Tuesday afternoon.

A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage took off from Phnom Penh International Airport at 2:45pm (local time), news agency UNB reports.

The minister-in-waiting appointed by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and Bangladesh Ambassador to Thailand and concurrently accredited to Cambodia Saida Muna Tasneem saw her off at the airport.
The Prime Minister went to Cambodia on December 3 at the invitation of her counterpart Hun Sen.

During her visit, Sheikh Hasina held official talks with her Cambodian counterpart Hun Sen and witnessed the signing of 10 instruments -- an agreement and nine memorandums of understanding (MoUs) -- to boost trade and investment relations between the two countries as well as to enhance cooperation in various fields including tourism, agriculture, civil aviation, ICT and technical education.

She also had a royal audience with King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamon.

Hasina joined a dinner programme hosted by the Bangladesh Ambassador to Cambodia where the Bangladesh community living in Cambodia also joined the function.

Speaking at the Bangladesh-Cambodia Business Dialogue organised by the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, she called upon the business community of Cambodia to explore all the avenues to do business in Bangladesh aiming to be partners in the quest for prosperity of the two nations.
