Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is now in London to join the 25th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), has cleared 13 urgent files digitally.
"Despite her busy schedule in London, the Prime Minister is running office digitally and clearing files regularly," said PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim on Thursday.
Sheikh Hasina has so far cleared 13 important electronic files (e-files) related to the Purchase Committee, the Energy Ministry and the Public Safety Division under the Home Ministry, reports UNB.
The press secretary said the Prime Minister has earlier instructed her office to send all the important files to her during her stay in the UK.
"Following the directives, officials concerned at the Prime Minister's Office emailed urgent files to the Prime Minister taking the advantage of the digitisation initiatives of the present government under her leadership," he added.
