The number of registered motorised vehicles in the country stood at 457,598 from January to November 2019, as per official data.
Of them, the mode of vehicles that had the highest number of registration were motor cycles while cargo vans were the lowest number registered vehicles, according to Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) statistics.
370,112 motorcycles were registered in January to November 2019 while the number of cargo vans registered was only four, the data added.
The data also found that 147,429 motorcycles were registered in Dhaka alone.
The number of motorised vehicle registration was 497,374 in 2018 while the number was 420,398 in 2017 across the country.
