An activist of United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF) was gunned down by miscreants at Banduk Bhanga in Rangamati Sadar upazila on Wednesday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately, UNB reports.
A group of miscreants swooped on the UPDF man and opened fire on him, leaving him dead on the spot, said Additional Superintendent of Police Mohammad Shafiullah, quoting locals.
However, the reason behind the murder is still not clear.
