Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has said that a mild cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the district of Chuadanga and it may continue.
Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and northwestern part and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country from today midnight to tomorrow morning, said a BMD bulletin.
The weather may remain dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, reports BSS.
However, night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 28.6 degrees Celsius at Teknaf, while the minimum temperature today was 7.6 degrees Celsius at Badalgachhi in Rajshahi district.
