The physical condition of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Anisul Haque, who is now staying in London, is recovering gradually, reports BSS.
"We were informed that the physical condition of the DNCC mayor is getting improved at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)," said Mesbahul Islam, chief executive office (CEO) of the DNCC.
Mayor Anisul was hospitalised with an ailment of cerebral vasculaitis.
Regarding a rumour about Anisul Haque's latest condition in social media -Facebook, Mesbahul said, "I talked with his children a few minutes ago...They informed me that our mayor is recovering gradually."
They urged all to pry for their father's quick recovery, the CEO added.
Mayor Anisul Haque went to London in a personal visit on July 29.
