Two motorcyclists were killed when a bus hit a motorbike on Dhaka-Aricha highway at Manora in Manikganj sadar upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased have been identified as Abdul Quader, 30 of Dhulla village and Abdul Gafur, 28, of Janna village in Saturia upazila.
Rakibuzzaman, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said the accident took place in the area around 7:00am when a Dhaka-bound 'Hanif Paribahan' bus smashed the motorcycle carrying two people, leaving them dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Sadar hospital morgue, according to a news agency report.
Police seized the bus but could not arrest anyone as the driver managed to flee the scene.
