The local airlines, US-Bangla, Novoair and Regent are engaged in the fierce competition along with Bangladesh Biman for the upcoming holiday season.
The Airline companies have made the decision to attract the potential customers with their lucrative offers and services.
They are offering ticket fares at discounted and promotional rates as well as offering bread and breakfast, sight-seeing among many other outbound travel related services.
US-Bangla, for instance, is providing several international hotel and tour packages to countries like Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Kolkata, Bangkok & Phuket, etc. at affordable rates. They are also offering holiday packages at domestic locations like Cox's Bazar, Chittagong, Sylhet, etc.
Similarly, Novoair through its sister concern -NovoHolidays is providing holiday packages to local destinations like Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and foreign destinations like Kolkata. Another local player - Regent Airways, also offer holiday packages in Cox's Bazar, India, Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Oman, etc.
Bangladesh Biman also helps travellers plan a trip to domestic locations and several foreign locations like London, Rome, several cities in the Middle East and Asia, etc.
They all are offering these services and packages at competitive and discounted prices, and this is causing a fare war on the eve of new year and Christmas season.
