Police have arrested a man over the murder of his 7-year-old half-brother in Dhaka city.
Md Simran was found dead on Thursday evening on a boat on the banks of the Turag River, said Uttarkhan police’s Sub- Inspector Md Anwar Hossain Khan.
The boy used to live with his father Nasir Uddin and mother Sufia Begum at Uzampur.
Nasir’s son from his previous marriage, 22-year-old Bappi, lives in Gazipur, but often visits his father.
