Two siblings were killed by lightning strike at Baghata village in Baniachang upazila on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Babul Mia, 27 and Irfan Ali, 15-sons of Akkas Ali of the village, reports UNB.
A thunderbolt struck Babul and Irfan while catching fish from a waterbody near their house amid rain around 8:00pm, leaving them dead on the spot, said Mozammel Haq, officer-in-charge of Habiganj Police Station.
