A farmer was killed when a thunderbolt struck him at Gorkati village in Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj district on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Zafar Ali, 45, reports UNB.
Ali met the tragic death while working in a paddy filed near the bank of Jadukata River amid rain around 10:30 am, said Nanda Kumar Dhar, officer-in-charge of Tahirpur Police Station.
