Police arrested an organising secretary of Ramganj Upazila unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) along with arms, ammunition and sharp weapons from Maddhya Bahadur area in Laxmipur upazila town on Saturday afternoon.
The arrestee was identified as Mohiuddin Sujon, said Tota Mia, officer-in-charge of Ramganj Police Station.
Police seized a light gun (LG), three rounds of bullets and five locally made sharp weapons from his possession, reports UNB.
