The Ministry of Industries is going to introduce reward for timely implementation of projects while rebuke for failure.
People concerned will be awarded from June 30 next if any project is implemented properly within the timeframe maintaining quality while they will get a rebuke for failure.
Industries Secretary Mohammad Abdullah came up with the information after a meeting on the progress of Annual Development Programme (ADP) projects under the ministry for the 2017-18 fiscal year, reports UNB.
Senior officials of the ministry, heads of different agencies and corporations under the ministry and project directors of projects concerned attended the meeting.
From now on, the secretary said, the Industries Ministry has to be on top in implementing all kinds of projects, warning of tough action against delay in project execution for anyone’s negligence.
The Industries Ministry has a total of 47 development projects under ADP involving Tk 13.82 billion in the current fiscal year.
