Indian High Commission Harsh Vardhan Shringla on Wednesday said India would like to see the continuation of democratic process in Bangladesh and constitution of a government in due time through a participatory election.
“India is glad to see that a participatory election is going to be held in Bangladesh,” Shringla said at meeting with Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim at the secretariat in the city, reports BSS.
Senior officials of the health ministry and Indian High Commission were present in the meeting, said an official release here.
Nasim said the government is committed to hold the next general election as per the constitution with participation of all political parties.
