Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has said that the government has a plan to install motorcycle unit in every fire service station across the country.
On Sunday, he said, "The government has a plan to set up motorcycle unit in future at every fire service stations in the country."
The minister said this while responding to a tabled question placed by treasury bench member M Abdul Latif from Chittagong-11 in the parliament.
The government, the minister said, has so far provided 174 two-wheeler fire fighting water mists -- each two fire fighting mists at 87 fire service stations under the Fire Service and Civil Defence Department throughout the country.
Move is underway, the minister added, to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China for supplying 1000 more two-wheeler fire fighting water mist under the grant of China government, reports UNB.
