Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan has said the current government is working sincerely to develop the country's all sectors to build Bangladesh as a middle-income country by 2021.
"The country is advancing under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Bangladesh will be a middle-income country by 2021 and a developed one by 2041," he said.
The Shipping Minister came up with the predictions while speaking at a programme at Western Cape in South Africa last night, according to a message received on Friday.
He urged people to cast vote for 'boat', the symbol of Awami League, to keep the ongoing development of the country.
UNB said chaired by Western Cape AL president Farid Ahmed, the programme was addressed, among others, by Talukder Abdul Khalek, MP, and Western Cape AL general secretary Moktar Matobbar.
