A mobile court in Chandpur on Thursday fined four grocery shop owners Tk 14000 for selling onion at higher price in Shahrasti upazila of the district.
A mobile court led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shirin Akter conducted a drive in four grocery shops in Thakur Bazar and Kalibari bazar and fined them Tk 14,000 for selling onion at a rate higher than the market price.
The drive will continue, she said.
