Former Information, Broadcasting and Jute Minister Habibullah Khan has passed away ((Inna lilla-he-wa-innaelyhe Raziun).
He breathed his last at a Dhaka hospital at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023, according to a DCCI press release.
Mr. Khan's Namaz-e-Janaza will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, after Johar prayer at Gulshan Azad Mosque, and he will be buried at Azimpur Graveyard.
He also served as Bangladesh’s first ambassador in South Africa.
