The first namaj-e-janaza of 23 US-Bangla plane crash victims was held at Bangladesh mission in Kathmandu on Monday morning.

The identified bodies of 23 Bangladeshi victims were taken to embassy around 8:30am where the janaza was held at 9am, said US-Bangla Airline's GM (Marketing Support and PR) Kamrul Islam.

A cargo plane of Bangladesh Air Force, carrying the bodies, is scheduled to land at Shahjalal International Airport in the city today around 3:00pm, according to a UNB report.

A total of 23 bodies were identified till Sunday.

At least 51 people, including 26 Bangladeshi nationals, were killed as the US-Bangla Airlines aircraft crashed and burst into flames at Tribhuvan International Airport in the capital of Himalayan county Nepal on Monday last.
