A fire that broke out at City Heart Shopping Complex in capital's Nayapaltan area on Tuesday morning was doused after nearly two hours of frantic efforts.
Fire service control room sources said that the fire broke out around 7:40am from the second floor of the market.
On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 9am.
However, smoke was seen billowing out from the fire but there is no casualty, said UNB citing duty officer of the control room.
The causes behind the fire could not be known yet.
