Fire breaks out at Amin Jute Mill in Chittagong

A fire has broken out at Amin Jute Mill in Oxygen area of Chittagong on Tuesday morning.

Service operator of Agrabad fire service and civil defense station, Humayun Kabir, said the fire originated around 10:15 am.

Acting on a tip-off, four units of fire service and civil defence from different stations of the city rushed to the spot and started working to douse the blaze, he added.

The cause of the fire could not be identified immediately, reports a news agency.
