Female magistrates will record testimonies of female victims of rape and sexual harassment from now on, the Supreme Court says in a circular.
"This is for the sake of fair investigation and trial," the top court said in the circular issued on Monday, reports UNB.
The court requested the chief judicial magistrates and chief metropolitan magistrates to make necessary arrangements in this regard.
