For ensuring better waste management during Eid-ul-Azha vacation, the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) have designated 1,054 spots for slaughtering the sacrificial animals.
Both the city corporations have cancelled Eid holidays of their employees to clean waste of sacrificial animals at the quickest possible time, said additional waste management officials of the DSCC and DNCC Khandoker Milladul Islam and Abul Hasnat Mohammad Ashraful Islam.
They urged the citydwellers to slaughter their sacrificial animals at the 1,054 spots designated by the two city corporation for Holy Eid-ul-Azha.
