A young physician allegedly committed suicide at his residence in Amirbagh residential area in Chittagong on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Faisal Emran, son of Emran Hossain of the area, said Assistant Sub-inspector Alauddin Talukdar of Chittagong Medical College (CMCH) Police Outpost.
He hanged himself with the grill of a window at his house in the evening. Later, his family members took Faisal to CMCH where doctors declared him dead at night, police said quoting relatives.
After completing internship in Dhaka recently, Faisal had been staying at his residence, reports UNB.
He was frustrated due to various reasons, said police adding that a case of unnatural death was filed in this connection.
