Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has fined different people and organisations for allegedly violating the government’s social distancing measures amid the ongoing coronavirus shutdown.
Several DMP teams, headed by its executive magistrates, conducted the drives in the capital on Friday and fined a total of Tk 2,000 for breaching the government order.
Law enforcement agencies with the help of Bangladesh Army have been implementing the government directives on social distancing throughout the country aiming to stem the spread of coronavirus.
