Those responsible for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) question paper leaks will be brought to justice within days.
Acting Chairman of Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Shahedul Kabir Chowdhury said this to journalists on Saturday.
"Investigators have several developments in this regard," he revealed, adding that those responsible behind the leaks would be booked in a day or two.
His words of assurance came when this year's ongoing SSC examinations are embroiled in series of leaks through social media and messenger apps prior to every examination.
But, the authorities have completely failed to prevent the leaks till date.
Sohrab Hossain, Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division, said that steps would be taken after getting report from the monitoring committee.
"If the committee finds any leaking incident and recommend for cancellation of any paper, we must arrange re-examination," he said.
Sources at the education ministry said the committee had not submitted any report till filing of this report.
UNB agency said they also found the cell phone of the committee chief switched off despite several attempts.
