The Bangladesh Road Transportation Authority (BRTA) on Wednesday has suspended the registrations of two buses responsible for the deaths of two college students in a Dhaka road crash on Jul 29.
Mahbubey-e-Rabbani, director of BRTA, said the registration of the two buses of 'Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan' was cancelled following Sunday's road crash, reports UNB.
One of the buses—both operated by Jabale Noor Paribahan—was registered in the name of Nitol Motors and the other in the name of Rangs Motors, according to a bdnews24 report.
Earlier on Sunday, Diya Khanam Mim and Abdul Karim Rajib, students of the college section of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin School and College, were killed as a 'Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan' bus ploughed through some students in front of Kurmitola General Hospital on Airport Road.
