Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mostafa Jabbar on Thursday warned that cyber criminals would not be spared even if they deleted their contents on social media sites.
"There are also a lot of bad sides in addition to the many good aspects of technology. Today, the girl child is being harassed in social communication media, some people are making bad comments about her, distorting pictures or making videos and spreading those in different ways. . I will say to the perpetrators, no one will be spared even after they erase the contents. We will bring them out digging into the soil as much as they try to hide. We now have those technologies," said the minister.
Jabbar said it while addressing an awareness campaign programme titled "Girls' awareness in Digital Security" at Azimpur Government Girls School and College, reports UNB.
"You will not feel helpless in the virtual world. The government will cure these crimes. The government is beside you," he assured the students, said a press release.
The minister assured girl students that the state will stand beside the girl and provide their security.
