Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested three suspected drug traders along with 1038 pieces of yaba pills from Pirojpur in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj on Friday night.
The arrestees are Putu, 42, son of Kutumuddin of Baliadighi Adolpara, Koraban, 35, son of late Bulu of Baliadighi Dakhshinpara of the upazila, and Majid Shah, 32, son of late Azahar Ali of Suranpur in Bholahat upazila.
Being informed, a team of RAB-5 conducted the drive in front of a hotel of the area and arrested them along with the Yaba pills worth Tk 0.519 million (Tk 519,000), UNB reported citing a press release.
