Police arrested a woman allegedly along with 70,000 Yaba tablets from a house in Anwara upazila on Monday.
The arrestee was identified as Kamrunnahar, 30, wife of Farid at Noabari in the upazila.
Tipped off, a police team conducted a drive at the house of Farid, an alleged drug trader, and arrested Kamrunnahar along with 30,000 Yaba tablets, said Dulal Mahmud, officer-in-charge of Anwara Police Station.
Later, the law enforcers recovered 40,000 more tablets from the cowshed near their house.
However, police could not arrest Farid as he managed to flee sensing the presence of police, reports UNB.
