District and Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) arrested 75 people in separate drives in Khulna conducted from Saturday morning to Sunday morning.
Md Anisur Rahman, additional superintendent of district police, said that police conducted drives in nine upazilas of the district and arrested 44 accused including five in drug related cases.
Sheikh Moniruzzaman Mithu, additional deputy commissioner of KMP, said that police, in regular drives conducted in areas under eight police stations, also arrested 31 accused including 13 in drug related cases, UNB reports.
Police seized 94 grams cannabis, 122 yaba tablets and two litre liquor during the drives.
