A pharmacy owner was hacked to death allegedly by an employee of his shop in Uttar Badda area of the capital Dhaka on Sunday noon.
Pharmacy owner Awal, 50, locked into an altercation with Fakhrul, 22, one of his employees, around 12:30pm over a trifling matter, said officer-in-charge of Badda Police Station Abdul Jalil quoting witnesses.
At one stage, Fakhrul hacked Awal with a sharp weapon, leaving him dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the body and arrested Fakhrul from the spot; according to a UNB report.
