Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Tuesday seized Indian silver weighing 8kg from Choshpara bordering area in Baliadangi upazila of Thakurgaon.
Based on secret information, a team of BGB conducted a drive in the area and recovered the silver from near pillar no 379/9 of the bordering area in an abandoned condition in the afternoon, said Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Hossain, commanding officer of BGB-50.
The price of the silver is estimated to be Tk 400,000, he said adding that none was arrested in this connection, reports UNB.
