Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized Indian imitation jewellery worth Tk 2.0 million at Amrakhali in the port area on Sunday.
Tipped off, a team of BGB intercepted a Jashore-bound bus and recovered the imitation jewellery concealed under a seat of the bus, said Lieutenant Colonel Ariful Haq, commanding officer of BGB-49.
The seized goods were deposited to Benapole Customs, reprots UNB.
