Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 1,827 Yaba tablets from the bank of Ichamati River at Agrovullot village in Sharsha upazila of Jashore district on Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of BGB 21 battalion conducted a drive in the area around 1:30pm, said Lieutenant Colonel Emranullah Sarker, Commanding Officer of BGB Khulna headquarters, reports UNB.
During the drive, they found the Yaba pills wrapped in a polythene bag which was left abandoned on the river bank, he added.
