The 1st Training Programme on Regional Integrated Rural Development, Governance, Trade and Sustainable Development in Asia and the Pacific that began on November 5 will continue until November 24, says a press release.
The training programme was inaugurated at the CIRDAP International Convention Centre (CICC) in Dhaka. LGRD Minister Md Tazul Islam was present as the chief guest and Md Mashiur Rahman, ndc, as a special guest. Md. Shahjahan, Director General of BARD, and Cherdsak Virapat, Director-General, CIRDAP, were also present at the event.
The working sessions of the training programme are taking place at BARD in Cumilla from November 6 to 22. As many as 18 participants from Bangladesh, Iran, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam and Zambia are taking part in this three-week training course.
The resource persons of the course include renowned academicians from home and abroad. The closing ceremony will be held on November 24.
