Two die in Cox’s Bazar over land dispute

At least two people were killed and eight others received bullet injures in a clash between two groups over a disputed land at Bilhachua in Cox’s Bazar’s Pekua upazila on Saturday.

The dead men were identified as Nezam Uddin, son of late Abdur Rahman and Azizul Haque of Bilhachua area.

Additional Superintendent of Police Iqbal Hossain said they recovered two bodies from the spot after the clash, reports UNB.

Police also recovered seven firearms and arrested eight people after the skirmish.
