Three fortune seeker adolescents, who went to the neighbouring India three years back in search of better jobs, have returned home.
The adolescents, aged between 14 and 16, were kept in a shelter home after the Indian police detained them for illegal entry.
Benapole Land Port sources said the Indian Border Security Force handed over the teens on Tuesday evening to its counterparts in Bangladesh.
After receiving them from the border, representatives from Bangladesh Woman Lawyers’ Association took the victims to their residences, said Nahar Begum, a representative of the organisation.
