RCCI, DHROA inaugurate hygienic Iftar outlets in Rangpur

Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and District Hotel and Restaurant Owners' Association (DHROA) jointly launched 20 hygienic Iftar selling centres in the city on Friday, the first day of Ramadan.

Mayor of Rangpur Mostafizur Rahman Mostafa launched the Iftar centres at two separate ceremonies held at the premises of 'New Star Hotel' at Dhap and 'Mohua Bread and Confectionary' in Katchari Bazaar areas in the city as the chief guest.

With RCCI President Mostafa Sohrab Chowdhury Titu in the chair, its Directors, President of DHROA Abdul Mazid Khokan, owners of different hotels and restaurants attended the ceremonies.

Senior Vice-president of RCCI Mostoba Hossain Ripon narrated objectives of the initiative taken to ensure supply of pure, safe and hygienic Iftar items, reports BSS.

Earlier, the RCCI authority supplied necessary materials, clothes and gloves to the owners of the twenty hotels and restaurants for their employees, he said.

The hygienic Iftar sales centres are 'Jahangir Hotel', 'Bandhan Hotel', 'Sanu Hotel', 'Baishakhi Restaurant', 'Chandni Restaurant', 'Kosturi Restaurant', 'Parvez Restaurant', 'New Star Hotel', 'Kara Canteen', 'Raihan Hotel', 'Safollo Hotel', 'Mouban Restaurant', 'Super Star', 'Mohua Biriani', 'Khaleque Hotel', 'Falguni Hotel', 'Bhai Bhai Hotel, 'Shapla Hotel', 'Shahi Hotel' and 'Khabar Restaurant' in different areas in the city.

Under the programme, RCCI motivated owners of these twenty major hotels and restaurants of the city for preparing, selling and packaging of the pure and hygienic Iftar items.
