A motorcyclist was killed and 20 other people were injured as a bus lost control and rammed into a motorcycle in Dhopabhita area of Muksudpur upazila on Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Yasin, 28, son of Farid, a resident of Nowhata village in Mochna union of the upazila.
Mostafa Kamal Pasha, officer-in-charge of Muksudpur Police station, said the bus crashed into the motorcycle and then hit a roadside three around 7:15am as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving motorcyclist Yasin dead on the spot and 20 bus passengers injured.
The injured were taken to Muksudpur upazila health complex, according to a news agency report.
