Four die in B’baria road crash

Four people, including a woman and an infant, have been killed and another 10 injured after a bus collided head-on with a truck in Brahmanbaria.

The incident occurred in Sarail Upazila’s Malihata area on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway around 7am on Sunday, said local Highway Police Outpost OC Md Yunus Miah.

The dead have been identified as Momin Miah, 40, Shahid Uddin, 38, Parveen, 35, and three-month old Noornabi, reports bdnews24.

The injured have been sent the Sadar Hospital for treatment. They have yet to be identified by police.

“An Agradut Transport bus was travelling from Habiganj to Dhaka this morning when it crashed into a freight truck headed the other way, killing four bus passengers,” said OC Miah.
