Faridpur health workers get 500 PPEs

A total of 500 sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) were handed over to the health workers of Faridpur district to protect them from infection of COVID-19 while performing their professional duties.

Local lawmaker Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain handed over the PPE to the doctors of Faridpur Medical College Hospital (FMCH) and Faridpur Diabetic Association Medical College, reports BSS.

Dr. Md. Saifur Rahaman, director of FMCH and Dr ASM Jahangir Chowdhury Tito, secretary of Dibectic Medical College received the 300 and 200 PPE respectively at his own residence of Badarpur in the town Friday noon.

Mosharraf said the present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken all necessary steps to combat the spread of coronavirus in the country.

He urged the people to follow the health directives to protect themselves from the deadly disease.

President of Faridpur district unit of Awami League(AL) Advocate Subol Chandra Saha, leaders and activists of the party, among others, were present on the occasion.
