A housewife died from electrocution at Belghoria village in Gopinathpur union of Akkelpur upazila of Joypurhat district on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Asma Begum (34), wife of Akram Hossain.
Chairman at Gopinathpur union parishad chairman, Abu Sayed Zoarder said, Asma got electrocuted at her own residence while unplugging a charger from an electric switch board and died on the spot, reports UNB.
