The decomposed body of an unidentified young woman, aged around 22, was recovered from a waterbody at Gazir Battola in Bhanga upazila of Faridpur district on Saturday morning.
Locals informed the police after spotting the floating body of the woman in the waterbody, said Pijush Chandra, Sub Inspector of Bhanga police station.
Tipped-off, police recovered the body.
A case was filed in this connection, according to a local news agency.
