BGB detains four Indian citizens over border trespassing

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained four Indian nationals from Chargaon border area in Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj on Thursday morning.

The detainees are Arjit Hajong, 60, his wife Deb Juni Hajong, 45, and Ramla Hajong, 50 and Jasna Hajong, hailing from Ranigour thana in Shilong district of India.

LT Col Nasir Uddin Ahmed, commanding officer of BGB-28 battalion, said a team of BGB detained them for intruding into Bangladesh without valid documents, reports UNB.
